New picnic tables at Mill Pond Park
September 28, 2026
Public Works crews put six new picnic tables in the Mill Pond Park shelter last week. They replace the wooden tables that had been there since 1998. The new tables are coated steel and should last 25 years with very little upkeep. The money came from the park improvement fund in this year’s budget.

Rake leaves to the edge of your yard by the curb, not into the street, where they block storm drains. Crews will work through the village street by street until November 20. Bagged leaves go out with yard waste on Mondays.
