Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste

Put carts at the curb by 6 a.m. on your pickup day, with the lids closed and the handles facing your house.

Trash

Every Thursday. If a holiday falls on Monday to Thursday, pickup moves to Friday that week.

Recycling

Every other Thursday, on the weeks marked on the calendar mailed with your April utility bill. Paper, cardboard, cans, and plastic bottles and jugs go loose in the cart. No plastic bags.

Yard waste

Mondays, April through November. Use paper yard waste bags or a can marked “Yard Waste.” Branches must be under 4 feet long and tied in bundles.

Fall leaf collection

From October 19 to November 20, crews pick up loose leaves raked to the curb. Keep leaves out of the street, where they block storm drains. Crews work street by street, starting on the north side of the village.
